A Real Estate Contract serves as an alternative to a promissory note and deed of trust for the financing of the purchase of real estate. Proper drafting is vital, due to the long-term nature of the agreement. We will: prepare a customized Real Estate Contract on behalf of a buyer or seller of residential real estate, whether vacant land or with a home; order title insurance commitment from title insurer; prepare any necessary exhibits to the Real Estate Contract; and coordinate with the closing and escrow agents. Includes one (1) revision to the Real Estate Contract resulting from negotiations with the other party to the contract. Additional revisions will be billed at $100 each. Does not include review of title commitment exceptions (including but not limited to declaration of covenants, conditions & restrictions, easements and other encumbrances); review of any homeowners’ association records; or other matters not described in the scope of work above, and it does not include preparation of a Purchase and Sale Agreement.
