  • How do I place an order?

Services and packages for Lucent Law’s Forms & Essentials platform are available to be purchased by clicking on the “Order” button located next to each listed service or package. This will place that item in a shopping cart for processing and payment.

  • How do you take payment?

When you finish checking out, your credit or debit card will be authorized for the amount of your purchase. We will not actually charge your credit or debit card until after we have performed a conflict check, described below.

  • How do you make sure there is no conflict with another party?

As part of our client and matter on boarding process, we ask for information concerning all parties who may have an opposing interest to your interests. Before we process your payment, we internally review this information. If it appears that we have an actual or potential conflict because of past or current representation of an opposing party, we will either cancel the transaction and stop any processing of a charge on your credit or debit card or we will determine if the parties can waive the conflict by signing a separate document and seeking the advice of independent counsel.

  • How long will it take to process my order?

Our processing times depend upon our workflows. Additionally, some services require a third party agency to take action. We will provide you with an estimate of the processing time after we have completed the conflict check described above. Some services can be performed in a matter of days following approval of our conflict check.

  • Is my information secure?

We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy to confirm the steps we take to maintain the security and privacy of the information that you provide to us. We use SSL encryption security for all payments made for services. We do not keep any information concerning your credit card files in our records.

  • Will you sell my email information to any third parties?

We will never sell your email address to any third party. Please review our Privacy Policy for further information.

  • How do I sign documents?

With the exception of documents requiring an original signature (such as a deed or a deed of trust), all of our documents are provided for signature through a secure electronic signature service (Adobe Document Cloud) at no additional fee to our clients. Adobe Document Cloud provides an easy way to sign documents through the convenience of your web browser on a computer or mobile device.
